To share a quick update, I am honored to have been invited to the Audio Engineering Society’s Latin American Convention in Lima, Peru. Finally—after a failed attempt in 2019—I will be presenting my workshop, “The Human Side of Audio.” I will also be collaborating with Steinberg to demonstrate software such as SpectraLayers, Nuendo (my personal favorite), and WaveLab; the demo will feature a song originally in stereo that we converted into stems for mixing and mastering in Atmos. This will take place in the Genelec Immersive Room—a space associated with a company I have collaborated with for years on Atmos mixes for their demonstrations, and with whom I maintain an incredible (I still find it hard to believe) and close working relationship regarding the development of some of their products and technologies. Additionally, I will participate in a panel discussion on education in Latin America alongside distinguished colleagues from the region.
